Reflections on Success

Having won the coveted first place in the 2017 National Picture Framing competition, Bill and Linda Roberts of Peninsula Reflections, Custom Framing and Gallery, are very proud of their achievement after many years of honing their craft and entering numerous competitions.

Pitted against the best in the country, Bill and Linda Roberts, owners of Peninsula Reflections, created the winning entry which was judged for its excellence in design and quality of workmanship. All entrants, a broad cross section of picture framers in Australia, were given the same image to frame, a copy of a lithograph of Snowy Owls. Entries were judged by a panel of experts and peers within the industry based on originality, creativity , design and craftsmanship.

Bill and Linda spent countless hours working on the perfect design to compliment the print, and striving for 100% quality in workmanship, much the same as they do with any of their clients. Their diligence and attention to fine detail payed off as the level of entries this year was second to none.

This is just one of the reasons that set them apart from other picture framers. Their entry used a high grade of preservation materials including an anti reflective glazing which is almost invisible and is highly sought after by their clients.

When asked how they come up with design solutions, Bill said they frame to suit the artwork and also ask questions and listen attentively to their clients relating to taste, decor, likes and dislikes. Bill and Linda take pride in their business and work ethic which is reflected by their continuing education and professional affiliations.

Bill is a Master Certified Picture Framer with the Professional Picture Framers Association and also affiliated with the Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Materials, the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers and the Cultural Heritage Preservation Foundation of Australia. Bill and Linda believe we are all custodians of our family and cultural heritage, irrespective of monetary value, and treat all work entrusted to them with equal respect.

Their studio at Suite 2102, 4 Daydream Street, Warriewood is open Monday to Friday 9 to 5 or other hours by appointment.

Congratulations to Bill and Linda!
